    Since the company was established in 1968, the corporate identity of GMT in the field of vibration isolation and rubber to metal bonding has been developing through exposure in numerous industrial sectors including rail, construction, aerospace, marine, automotive and defence.

    Having achieved growth year on year since its foundation, the GMT group now has a turnover of more than 130 million pounds (GBP), employing more than 800 people worldwide within the rubber to metal bonded products division alone.

    By maintaining our clear and distinct vision for the future, GMT intends to secure its place as the leader in the industry by ensuring we meet the needs of our customers.

    GMT are certified according to the international quality standard ISO 9001, the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) and the Aerospace standard  EN9100. Moreover we are certified according to numerous customer specific requirements and standards and have achieved the status of “Preferred Supplier” to several major global manufacturing organisations. We observe and adhere to strict quality requirements by means of our Quality Assurance systems and our dedication to meet the needs of our customers.

    Manufacturing processes are subject to continuous in-process inspections. Fully automated computer controlled rubber compound formulation and mixing ensures the desired rubber performance is achieved. Manufacturing facilities are also certified according to international environmental standard ISO 14001 and energy management standard ISO 50001.
